I think that the Designer baby is a very modern idea but a possible mistake. What these scientists are doing comes across as unnatural to me. I believe that one of the many reasons why God chooses how babies are is because he deserves this choice. Parents should not pick from a batch which child they want to have. To me it is ridiculous to do such a thing. I think its a beautiful surprise to be able to not know how your child will look. I think that choosing a child before it is born from all of the other choices of babies they have is a form of rejecting a child that they haven't even conceived yet. I would  never want to be told by my parents that they "chose" me.

Chapter 10

I remember one day I was questioning my dad about what he was like at my age, 15. He told me that he was growing in music at that time which I was aware of. But then he told me the coolest story about himself. He told me that when he was 15 somehow he was spotted playing ( I cant remeber great details) and was asked to play at a bar. Of course his parents were first skeptical about a 15 year old performing at a bar but they ended up saying yes to the offer. My dad got to play his bass at this bar and the owners loved him so much that they continued to ask him to come back to play, and they even paid him! This was special to me because it gave me a better understanding of who my dad was around my age and what he was involved in. It also made me look up to him even more as a father and a musician.

I dont think there is any way of transfering the story to my neighborhood. But if there was, it would probably be on my maturity level rather than a childs. The fact that th kids were always curious and mischevious would stay the same. I wouldnt be friends with scout or any of the other kids because they are racist against my race. Plus even if they werent I wouldnt want friends who are racist period.

Antoher quote. Lets see...hmm. Well i guess this makes me think about how amazing it is to pay attention to whats going on in the world. Mostly because the world is pretty messed up when you pay attention to it. But when you dont pay attention everything is different. When you do find out how sick it is your first skeptical to your own opinion bc you think that your overanalyzing everthing. But in reality I think that its healthy to question/ analyze the enviorment. And to share your discoveries with others, whether they be good or bad.

Amendment

1.I think that if I could add something to the Amendments I would put something about children being treated almost as equal as adults.
2. I would add something about education and how it should be free to learn because knowledge should not cost anything. Those who teach should teach because of their great passion of teaching, not because they can get money. 
3. I would make some heavier rules on the media because its okay to have a freedom of speech but not to the point where they influence peoples lives. Mainly children because their our future.
